The website claims that the Air Climber is manufactured using a resin that is formed from a filling of a particularly strong, lightweight fibreglass that is extremely durable, even under extreme stress. The company does indicate that children under 12 years old shouldn’t use the device. Not really sure why? Most children could handle the Air Climber with little effort – perhaps its due to the use of rubber band cables that can be attached – having said that these can be detached if needed. Anyway, small kids keep off – this gadget’s for your mums and dads.

The package does include complete workouts, DVD, resistance cords and a type of meal plan, fast weight loss program and a training guide. I would hesitate to dive in to a heavy weight loss program if you’re very unfit to start with – I personally think that a steady but consistent approach will work better. Yes, you need to exercise and you need to cut the calories, but you don’t need to kill yourself in the first week!

The trial price is indeed cheap but don’t overlook the fact that you’ll have to stump up the shipping charge – and you’ll have to pay it again if you decide to return it. The returns policy is otherwise fair enough.

I’ve had an Air Climber for six months and it’s still going strong – I didn’t feel any need to send it back and am actually looking fitter and feeling better by just doing a small amount everyday.

It may not be as good as a rowing machine but it’s easier to store and easy to use!

It isn’t until you look beneath the surface of a product’s website, claims and guarantees that you get to the heart of the matter. You learn what is and is not fact, and in this case the reality check for the Air Climber machine. Let’s take a quick look and decide for yourself if this is really all that it seems.

According to the website, the Air Climber machine is fully made of resin filled with a special type of fiberglass. Apparently it is strong, lightweight and durable, but you have to be 12 years old or older to use it. Why? Kids under 12 learn to climb stairs by crawling up them and sliding down them. So why don’t they claim that this is because of the dangers of the rubber bands that can be attached, but if a kid uses it, can be safely stored away?   

Despite the issues surrounding kids using a stepper or mini-stairs, your wonderful package will come complete with your workouts, DVD, meal type plan, resistance cord (oops, other ads suggest more than one!), rapid weight-loss program, battery-run computer tracking system and a training guide. If you look at the manual, how can you use the exercises for the arms with one resistance cord or band? Isn’t it better to work out both arms at the same time?  Also, what strikes this reader as disturbing is that any quality health or exercise item would even suggest a fast weight-loss program, which is dangerous and harmful to the body.

Obviously there is also a catch with the trial price as you will see that you have to pay the shipping and handling to receive it and return it, therefore spending more money and receiving nothing back. I cannot speak for everyone out there, but this seems more like a good sales pitch rather than a genuine set of claims. What do you think?

Put bluntly, Brenda Dygraf’s Air Climber is nothing but a stepper with air-type springs underneath; two to be exact. These are supposed to provide the bounce and resistance. In essence, you should enjoy a workout without the impact. Additionally, you can attack rubber-type cables to each side of the stepper and use them to keep yourself stable. Apparently this is supposed to improve your overall workout, training your arms and legs simultaneously.

The stepper is meant to provide a strength and cardio workout. Cardio comes from the stepping up and down and the strengthening comes from working your arms with the rubberized bands. As you watch the inclusive DVD, you are shown varied workouts that increase intensity wise as you move through the levels. You can even try the special diet menus to give you the optimum benefits.

According to the Brenda Dygraf’s Air Climber website, your fitness with toned legs, abs and upper body section is fully guaranteed, as is losing weight and burning fat quickly. Apparently you should lose 10 pounds in about 10 days or you get every penny you spent back. It is supposed to replace walking and running as a low-impact, home exercise system. However, the truth is that experts are not impressed. The claims are apparently supposed to be exaggerated and the money back guarantee defunct as you pay shipping and handling whether you keep it or send it back (both ways!). Is this really for you?
